What does the Exoikonomo – Aftonomo programme cater for?
- Exclusively for apartment blocks
- To upgrade the safety level and improve the operation of the elevator
- Eligible interventions required for the certification of elevators (Joint Ministerial Decision 28425/2008)
- Installation of inverter and power factor correction device or inverter with integrated power factor correction system, to minimise the ecological footprint, without affecting the safety and functionality of the elevator
- Part of the eligible expenses include accessibility solutions for people with disabilities
- Maximum upgrade expenses up to €10,000 (VAT included) per apartment block application
Information about the programme
- The programme pertains to elevators installed before 01/07/1999
- The choice of partial renovation or complete replacement is given, aiming to improve safety and energy upgrade
- Once the works are concluded, the elevator is certified and recorded in the registries
- Apart from the elevator, other energy-saving systems may be included in the programme, such as: heating/cooling systems, thermal insulation, interventions in frames / shading systems / ventilation, lighting upgrade and energy management devices (smart home)
